Terms of Service
(A Trade Name of Ramta Transportation LLC)
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern all chauffeured transportation services provided by Ramta Transportation LLC, operating under the trade name Ramta Limo (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By booking, using, or receiving services from the Company, the client or passenger (“Client”) agrees to be bound by these Terms.
1. Services
The Company provides luxury chauffeured transportation services, including but not limited to airport transfers, point-to-point transportation, hourly/as-directed charters, special events, and private aviation ground transportation within Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
2. Bookings, Deposits, and Payments
All quotes are based on the information provided by the Client at the time of booking. Deposits and payments are NON-REFUNDABLE unless otherwise stated in writing. Full payment may be required prior to the start of service. Balances, if any, must be paid before service begins. Rates are based on scheduled service time, vehicle type, and service details confirmed at booking.
3. Cancellations and No-Shows
Cancellations must be made at least 4 hours prior to the scheduled pickup time to avoid charges, unless stricter terms apply and are disclosed at booking. Cancellations made within 4 hours of pickup may be charged up to the full reservation amount. Special events, weddings, holidays, and hourly charters may be subject to stricter cancellation policies.
A reservation will be considered a NO-SHOW if the Client or passenger fails to appear at the pickup location within the applicable grace period or if the driver is unable to make contact using the phone number provided. No-shows are NON-REFUNDABLE and may be charged 100 percent of the reservation amount.
4. Passenger Conduct and Driver Authority
All passengers must comply with applicable laws and the driver’s instructions at all times. Alcohol consumption and drug use are prohibited where restricted by law. Smoking is not permitted in Company vehicles unless expressly authorized by the driver.
5. Vehicle Damage and Cleaning
The Client assumes FULL FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY for any damage caused to the vehicle by the Client or any member of their party during the rental period. Fees may include, but are not limited to, charges for seat or carpet burns, physical damage, or excessive cleaning. A minimum sanitation or cleaning fee of 250.00 may apply where necessary.
6. Overtime and Waiting Time
A 15-minute grace period applies after the scheduled service end time. Overtime beyond this period will be billed according to the Company’s prevailing hourly rates. Additional waiting time, stops, or itinerary changes may result in additional charges.
7. Mechanical Breakdown and Service Interruptions
The Company is not liable for delays or service interruptions caused by mechanical breakdowns, traffic, weather, accidents, or circumstances beyond its control. In such cases, the Company will make reasonable efforts to provide a replacement vehicle or reschedule lost service time at a mutually agreed date. Liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected service.
8. Weather and Road Conditions
The Company is not responsible for delays, route changes, or service termination caused by unsafe weather or road conditions, including but not limited to snow, ice, accidents, unplowed roads, or government restrictions.
9. Personal Property
The Company is not responsible for articles left in the vehicle. Clients are encouraged to inspect the vehicle at the conclusion of service. Any found items may be returned at the Company’s discretion.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company’s liability for any claim arising from services provided shall be limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.
11. Modifications to Terms
The Company reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on the Company’s website with a revised effective date. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
